How the Consultation Works
Every space is different - and so is every consultation. Here's what to expect:
1. Book your free consultation
Fill in the form below or email info@gallery8.com.au. Tell us a little about your space, your style preferences and what you're hoping to achieve.
2. We visit your space - or connect remotely
One of our Gallery 8 team will come to you, or we'll schedule a video call. We look at the space, the lighting, the existing palette and the feeling you want to create.
3. We curate a shortlist
Based on your brief, we pull together a selection of original works, limited editions and commissions from our gallery and artist network. We present options with context —-dimensions, framing, placement.
4. You choose what's right
No pressure, no hard sell. We're here to help you find something you love. If nothing in the current collection fits, we can commission a piece made specifically for your space.
5. Delivery and installation
We can arrange professional delivery and installation so the artwork arrives safely and is hung correctly - at the right height, in the right light.

Is the art consultation really free?Yes, completely. Whether you need help choosing one piece or curating an entire home, the consultation is complimentary. We only make money if you love something and decide to purchase.
Do you work outside the Gold Coast?We primarily serve the Gold Coast and South East Queensland but can discuss remote consultations for clients further afield.
Do you only work with artwork from Gallery 8?We primarily work with the Gallery 8 collection and our artist network, but if you have a specific style or artist in mind, we'll do our best to source it. We can also arrange commissions for truly bespoke pieces.
What if I want to commission a new artwork?We have relationships with several Gold Coast and Queensland artists who take commissions. Tell us your brief size, palette, subject, mood and we'll connect you with the right artist.
Can you help me if I'm not sure what style I wantAbsolutely - that's exactly what the consultation is for. We ask questions about your space, your lifestyle and what you're drawn to, then guide you toward styles and pieces that make sense for you.
